Company Description

Cooper Security, under the brand name Scantronic, designs and manufactures radio-based alarm, telemetry and social care systems.

All are manufactured using leading edge technologies with strict assembly and quality control procedures to ensure reliability. Intruder alarm systems include radio-only and hybrid systems operating on 433MHz and narrowband 868MHz. The range includes radio peripherals, including PIRs, door contacts, personal alarm devices and test meters. Social care products include the Homelink social alarm system and the Nursecall/Multiscan emergency calling system. Both are complemented by a range of specialist accessories. Telemetry products operate at 868MHz (NB), 418MHz and 173MHz and include a comprehensive range of transmitters and receivers which are readily integrated into other manufacturers’ equipment to provide a broad range of system solutions. A range of internal and external aerials is available to complement both the transmitters and receivers. Scantronic radio equipment is tested and approved to all relevant European national radio regulations.
