October 2021 : The UK Spectrum Policy Forum (techUK) commissioned a study on the potential impact of spectrum policy on combatting climate change. Taking the lead from the RSPG consultation on environmental issues, this report shows that spectrum policies can have a significant positive environmental impact and that policymakers must put green issues at the heart of their radio spectrum policies. It provides recommendations including expanding Ofcom’s duties to environmental issues and informs on the types of policies that may have a significant and short-term impact.
